A skydiver survived after his main parachute failed to open properly during a 10,000ft freefall.
He crashed on to a warehouse roof near Tilstock Airfield in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The injured man was rescued from the roof by firefighters.
He was treated for head and neck injuries then flown to hospital, but is not thought to be seriously injured.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “The man is reported to have fallen approximately 1,000ft, spiralling to the ground following a 10,000ft skydive.”

He was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and treatment.
‘No fractures’
The parachutist, who has not yet been named, is a freelance cameraman the Parachute Centre said.
Colin Fitzmaurice, who owns the centre, said: “He has no fractures, as far as we know.
“He’s very lucky and I think he will make a full recovery.”
Mr Fitzmaurice, who saw the accident happen, said the cameraman’s main parachute malfunctioned.
“And when he released his main parachute he had some sort of control problem with his reserve.
“His reserve opened fully but was turning when he hit the roof.”
